Steering Committee
The Steering Committee (SC) is composed of senior representatives from the partner organisations. The SC is chaired by the MarinERA Co-ordinator, supported by the Deputy Co-ordinator. The SC has a primarily advisory role to support the evolution of the project according to its changing needs and requirements in working towards the development of a co-ordinated European strategy on marine RTD programmes. Interactions between the Technical Committee (TC) and the SC will be of increasing relevance during the 2007-2008 period when identifying clusters of on-going projects (WP 3) and the development of joint programmes (WP 4). The SC meets once yearly.
